A webinar has been arranged in the computer lab of the Govt Queen Mary graduate college under the supervision of the Girl Guides’ In charge Ms Breira Abdullah for a company of 35 Girl Guides. Surf Smart 2.0 is a comprehensive program aimed at educating individuals about safe and responsible internet usage, particularly focusing on adolescents and young adults.
The prime objectives of the training were to raise awareness about online safety and privacy issues, to equip participants with skills to navigate the internet safely and responsibly as well as to empower participants to become advocates for online safety within their communities.
The students got information about Privacy Management, Cyberbullying Awareness, Digital Literacy, Responsible social Media use, and Reporting and seeking help. After getting training they recorded their response and that is highly commendable.
The Surf Smart 2.0 training for Girl Guides of Queen Mary College, under the leadership of Breira Abdullah, was a resounding success. Participants gained valuable knowledge and skills to navigate the online world safely and responsibly, empowering them to become advocates for online safety within their communities.
