About the event
The Quaid-e-Azam Society of Political Science Department, Government Queen Mary Graduate College, Lahore, organized a quiz competition on 15th October 2026 under the guidance of the worthy Principal, Prof. Dr. Sidra Amir, in accordance with the directions of the Directorate of Colleges, Lahore Division, and with reference to Letter No. 8476GH/DEC/LHR, dated 26th September 2026.
The programme
The formal proceedings opened with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Senior faculty members and a large number of students attended, while six teams from different academic disciplines participated enthusiastically.
The first round tested students’ knowledge of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s personal life and background.
The second round explored his political career and his contributions to the Pakistan Movement.
Participants answered questions based on a documentary about his life and achievements, appreciated by students and faculty for its informative presentation.
Participation & achievement
The competition encouraged healthy academic participation and deeper understanding of Quaid-e-Azam’s vision. At the conclusion, the three winning teams received certificates in recognition of their performance.
Event highlights
The three winning teams were awarded certificates. All participants were encouraged to prepare further for the upcoming district-level competition, carrying forward the spirit of curiosity, teamwork and academic excellence.
The programme promoted awareness of the life, struggles and achievements of one of Pakistan’s most significant leaders. It highlighted the importance of vision, leadership, integrity and determination.
