The Computer Science Department at Govt. Queen Mary Graduate College, established in 2003, It is one of the college’s newest additions. Over the past two decades, it has gained immense popularity among students due to the rapid advancements in the technological era.
The department has been fortunate to have visionary leaders at its helm. Prof. Muzakra served as the pioneering head, followed by Dr. Samina and Ms. Abida Tahir, who contributed significantly to its growth and development. Presently, Ms. Rumana leads the department, and her invaluable honorary contributions as the head of the computer science department are highly appreciated.Her dedication and commitment to enhancing the department’s quality and academic excellence are truly remarkable.
The Computer Science Department is blessed with a group of visionary and promising young faculty members. Ms Mahnoor, Ms Hina, Ms Momina, Ms Amena. Ms Safina and Ms Fatima are talented young faculty members, inspiring innovation and fostering a deep understanding of the subject among students. Program offer
The Computer Science Department was established in 2003 with the approval of the Board of Governors, Queen Mary College, Lahore. Currently we are offering:
- Intermediate in Computer Science (ICS)
- BSCS (4 Years) Degree Programme
It includes class room lectures, assignments, seminars, workshops
and group-based project work.
The College has well equipped and completely networked
Two laboratories. One of the computer labs purely allocated to BSCS.
Admission Criteria
- Admission Committee is responsible for admission.
- Advertisement in Newspapers, college notice board and college website will be displayed.
Form Submission
- College Prospectus and admission form will be available from the college office.
Scrutiny of Forms
- After the submission of the form, concerned department may scrutinize the forms according to the college merit, under the supervision of the Admission Committee.
Eligible Candidates for Test / Interview
- A Lists of eligible candidates for Tests & Interviews for Computer Science disciplines of will be displayed on the college notice board.
Test & Interview
- Candidates who will qualify the basic eligibility criteria of the Computer Science department shall appear in Test & Interview on the prescribed date.
