World Mental Health Day is an opportunity for people and communities to unite behind the theme ‘Mental health is a universal human right” to improve knowledge, raise awareness and drive actions that promote and protect everyone’s mental health as a universal human right. Good mental health is vital to our overall health and well-being. Mental health conditions, can impact individuals physical health, their well-being, how they connect with others, and their livelihoods. Mental health conditions are also affecting an increasing number of adolescents and young people.
For that matter Dr.Hafsa Hayee was invited to enlighten students regarding importance of mental health and to provide valuable guidance regarding dealing of different stressful situations in life.
Dr.Hafsa Hayee did her graduation from Govt. College of Home Economics Lahore. Further she did her M.Sc., MPhil, and PhD in Human Development and Family Studies. She is Connected with field of Human Development for than a decade.
She is Editorial Board member & Peer Reviewer for International scientific Journals. As specialised Developmental Psychologist she has been conducting Seminars and trainings for youth, specially in educational institutions to raise the awareness on importance of mental health.Currently she is working on her social project of psychological well-being, Mindful paths, where she is aimed at expanding her consultancy on: Mental and Behavioural issues of individuals and families.
The seminar was concluded by an interesting and interactive answer question session, where students shared their experiences and also made photographs with faculty and guest speaker Dr.Hafsa Hayee.
