A visit by floriculture department was arranged at Govt Queen Mary Graduate College Lahore. A seminar was conducted for students to give knowledge about importance of Kitchen Gardening. A demonstration was given including sowing of vegetable seeds in lawns and on the roof using pots, tubs and other containers. Students were encouraged to start this useful activity at their home. packets of different vegetable seeds were distributed to students free of cost by Floriculture departmentn to develop their interests in Kitchen Gardening. The objective of this activity was to indulge the students in healthy activities for green pakistan project.
