Govt. Queen Mary College has participated in Ceremony at guide house on “Word Thinking Day”
World’s Thinking Day was commemorated at the Pakistan Girl Guides Association on February 22, 2024. The ceremony was overseen by Mrs. Ayesha Baligh Ur Rahman, the esteemed spouse of the Governor. The Guides from Queen Mary Graduate College, led by Ms. Breira Abdullah, actively participated and exhibited their exceptional creations at the Guide House stall. Mrs. Governor visited the stall, where Ms. Breira Abdullah had the privilege of presenting her with a splendid bracelet crafted from reused and recycled plastic waste. Mrs. Governor expressed profound admiration and was inspired by the guides’ creativity and their commitment to promoting the MAHOL DOST concept.
The stall also received visits from esteemed guests, including the Director of Colleges, Mian Zahid, and the DPI of College, Dr. Syed Ansar Azher. They, too, lauded the innovative ideas and their execution, recognizing their role in making the planet more habitable and endorsing the Go Green initiative.
