PLANT FOR PAKISTAN CAMPAIGN HED PUNJAB (QMC)

Different activities were activiley performed by staff members and students along with Principal Prof Dr Sidra Amir at Govt Queen Mary Graduate College regarding Tree Plantation Drive on 19.03.2024. Worthy principal planted different varieties of plants along with section heads, staff members of different departments and students.Students were very excited for being part of all these activities.A walk with Principal staff and students was arranged to enhance enthusiasm for green pakistan.

SEMINAR

A seminar was organized by Botany Department regarding “WORLD FOREST DAY”. Professor Dr Zubaida Yousaf Chairperson of Botany Department LCWU, Lahore was guest speaker. She delivered a wonderful lecture on “TREES DOMESTICATION”. She focused on the objectives for plantation. Staff members and students of different departments attended this interesting lecture with great interest and make a promise not only to plant but to take care of their planted seedlings. In the end of session a souvenir was presented to guest speaker in honor to share her technical knowledge with students.
