INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2024

Report on 14th August Celebrations 2024

In accordance with the instructions of the Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab, the 77th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dedication. The college building was beautifully illuminated with lights on the evening of 13th August.

The following day, the celebrations commenced with a tree plantation ceremony led by the esteemed Principal,Prof. Dr. Sidra Aamir. The tradition of lamp lighting, a hallmark of the Govt. Queen Mary Graduate College, was also observed. Students from both the school and college participated actively, delivering speeches and performing national songs.
The school students presented a skit that highlighted the spirit of Independence Day celebrations. In her address, Prof.Dr. Sidra Amir spoke to both the students and staff, emphasizing the importance of the day. Certificates were distributed among the event participants by Principal Sahiba accompanied by senior faculty members. The event’s atmosphere was further energized by the playing of national songs in the background.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt prayer for the prosperity and well-being of Pakistan.
