Orientation Ceremony for FSC I (Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, and ICS)
The orientation ceremony for newly admitted students of FSC I was held with great enthusiasm. The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a soul-stirring Naat. Afterward, the National Anthem was played, instilling a sense of pride and patriotism in all attendees.
Ms. Huma Usman, serving as the anchor for the event, warmly welcomed the students and introduced the esteemed Principal, Prof. Dr. Sidra Aamir. In her inspiring address, the Principal welcomed the students to the Queen Mary family, highlighting the college’s prestigious legacy. She urged the students to carry forward the institution’s proud traditions by striving for excellence in both academics and character. Emphasizing the importance of discipline, she reminded them to strictly adhere to the college’s code of conduct, including uniform regulations and other rules. Additionally, the Principal spoke about the remarkable achievements of past students, motivating the new batch to aim high and uphold the reputation of the college.
Following the Principal’s speech, the Heads of Departments (HODs) and incharges of various committees were introduced to ensure that students knew the key figures responsible for their academic and extracurricular guidance. The administrative staff, including Mr. Shoukat and Mr. Zafar, were also introduced, as they would be handling students’ administrative matters and ensuring smooth operations.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt dua, invoking blessings and best wishes for the future success of the new students as they embark on their academic journey at Govt Queen Mary Graduate College.
