Quiz Competition

The Quaid-e-Azam Society of Political Science Dept, Government Queen Mary Graduate College, Lahore, organized a quiz competition on 15th October 2026 under the guidance of the worthy Principal, Prof. Dr. Sidra Amir, in accordance with the directions of the Directorate of Colleges, Lahore Division, and with reference to Letter No. 8476GH/DEC/LHR, dated 26th September 2026.

The event was attended by senior faculty members, and a large number of students. The formal proceedings began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Six teams representing various academic disciplines of the college enthusiastically participated in the competition.

The quiz consisted of three rounds designed to assess students’ knowledge and understanding of the life, political struggle, and leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The first round focused on his personal life, while the second covered his political career and contributions to the Pakistan Movement. In the third round, participants answered questions based on a documentary highlighting the life and achievements of Quaid-e-Azam. The documentary was particularly appreciated by both students and faculty members for its informative and engaging presentation.

At the conclusion of the competition, the three winning teams were awarded certificates in recognition of their performance. The participants were also encouraged to further prepare themselves for the upcoming district-level competition.

The programme successfully promoted students’ awareness of the life, struggles, and achievements of one of the most significant leaders in the history of Pakistan. It also highlighted the importance of learning from the vision, leadership, integrity, and determination of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The event concluded with a renewed commitment to uphold his principles and contribute positively to the progress, prosperity, and development of Pakistan.
