ADMISSION RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Admission to F.A/ F.Sc/ ICS/ G.Sc/ I.Com/ Home Intermediate ( 2 years Programme) is granted on merit in accordance with the rules and regulations and policy of the Lahore board and Higher Education Department, Government of the Punjab.
- Application for admission will be received within specified period of time as advertised in the newspaper.
- Candidates seeking admission to Govt. Queen Mary Graduate College, Lahore should apply on prescribed forms. These forms can be obtained from the Main Branch Bank of Punjab, Egerton Road, Lahore.
- Admission to Arts classes will not be granted on the Science form and vice versa. To avoid disappointment, candidates should apply both on Science and Arts forms separately.
- If the applicant, after her selection, fails to deposit fee/dues within specified time her admission will be cancelled.
- The candidate will star (concessional marks) in subjects, though on merit, will have to fulfill the condition of clearing a test conducted by the college in the star subjects. The test will be allowed only in one subject and the candidate will not be allowed to choose the same as elective subject.
- The maximum age limit for the candidates seeking admission in F. A/ F. Sc/ ICS/ G. Sc/ I. Com/ Home Economics Intermediate (2 years Programme) is 20 Years on the date of receipt of forms
- An affidavit shall have to be attached to this effect that the candidate has not taken admission in any Institution /College.
- Reserved Seats
- According to the Admission Policy/ Rules announced by the Government, 2% seats will be reserved for the following categories: • Sports (Arts)
- Disability (Candidates suffering from some minor disability will not be considered eligible for admission on the quota for the disabled. • Minorities
- Note: Admission to any Class under these categories is subject to policy/rules announced by the Government
- Note:
- In case any candidate who is found at any time to have obtained admission by making any mis-statement in the Admission Forms or by willful concealment of any material fact, (particularly about marks, division, previous admission/expulsion, etc., and fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria, her admission shall stand as cancelled and all fees or other dues paid by her shall be forfeited.
Required Documents
The following documents should be attached with the application forms:
- Three attested photo copies of matriculation. (Note: Internet result card will not be accepted)
- Three attested photo copies of character certificate from the Head of the Institute last attended.
- Three attested Photocopy Candidates from boards other than Lahore Board should present original NOC at the time of admission.
- Three attested photo copies of the National Identity Card of father/guardian.
- Three attested photo copies of B-form/ National Identity Card / Smart card of candidates
- The former students of the college who were found guilty of misconduct & indiscipline in Intermediate will not be considered for admission.
- Admission to Intermediate Programme will be granted on Open Merit.
- Note:
- 1:- The selected candidates are required to bring all the original documents and three passport-size photographs with a blue background at the time of admission to the Intermediate 2 Years Degree Programme.
- 2:- Provision of Health form is compulsory for selected students without its submission the roll number will not be issued.
Courses of Study at Intermediate Level
In pursuance of instructions of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore, the College permits subject  change to students only after the final approval of the Lahore Board within three weeks of the commencement of classes.
All the students of Intermediate Science and Arts will study the following Compulsory Subjects:

- The students will select any one given combination mentioned in College Prospectus.
- Students who opt for English Elective or Fine Arts will have to qualify an Entry Test to be held at the date notified by the College Administration in the newspaper prior to
Eligibility Rules
- Candidates must have passed their Matriculation in Science Subjects for applying in the above-mentioned a, b, c, d categories.
- They should apply separately for different categories
- It is mandatory for the students who are interested in getting admission in ICS/
G.Sc to have opted for science as a subject in their matriculation. In the case of cancellation of admission, no dues would be refunded.
- Those students who opt. for Mathematics in F.A. should have 60% marks in Maths in their Matriculation.

EVENING SHIFT CLASSES

Rules and Regulations:
All rules and regulations applicable to the Morning Shift students, will apply to the Evening Shift students. Moreover, the following rules should also be observed with addition to these following rules given below.
- No fee concession will be granted to Evening Shift students as it is a self-supporting
- Students granted admission to the Evening Shift classes will not be allowed to change to the Morning Shift classes. Moreover, they will have to sign an undertaking in this respect otherwise their admission may be
- There will be a different merit list for the Morning and Evening Shift
- Timings for Evening Shift Classes:
Summer & Winter (As per HED Orders)
- A / F.Sc / ICS students can change their subjects within 15 days after the commencement of classes. No change of subjects will be allowed after the specified time.
