Report on 117th Founders Day of Govt. Queen Mary Graduate College, Lahore:
The 117th Founders Day of Govt. Queen Mary Graduate College, Lahore was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity on 10th of December 2025 in School Auditorium. The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBHU) followed by a welcome note by the stage secretary (Ms. Huma Usman) highlighting the historic legacy of the prestigious institution and its remarkable contribution to women’s education, development and empowerment in Pakistan.
The Worthy Principal, PROF. DR. SIDRA AMIR, graced the occasion with her special presence. The Vice Principal, Section Heads, faculty members, and students of the school and college were also present. The Worthy Principal paid special tribute to the college’s founders, acknowledging their vision, dedication, and role in shaping generation of educated and confident young women. A beautifully presented documentary and special performances by the students added color to the ceremony.
The school students sang a special birthday song to celebrate the occasion. The highlight of the event was the cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing another milestone in the college’s journey. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, leaving the audience inspired with pride and gratitude for the institutions rich heritage.
